Knowledge Education Development

Between 4th and 15th of July, 2022 three of our faculty members – Agnieszka Moraszczyk, Lidia Ślubowska-Kośnik and Mateusz Pencuła – had the opportunity to visit Malta and develop their professional skills as a part of the Erasmus program. During their stay in town of St. Julian, located on the east coast of Malta, they had a chance of exchanging educational ideas and skills with vast amount of different professionals in the field coming from around the world and enhancing their teaching techniques. The trip has also enabled them to engage with local community and culture, and visit places of great historical importance, such as the city of Mdina (the first capitol of Malta) or the harbour city of Valletta – the current capitol of Malta, which witnessed the rise and fall of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta. This great summer experience equipped our teachers with both specialized and everyday knowledge, which they hope to use in the process of broadening the intellectual and cultural horizons of the 2SLO students.(text: Mateusz Pencuła)
